Challenge
T+A’s challenge was not simply to create separate apps for iPhone and Android. It was to build a digital experience that matched the quality of the Solitaire T PRO headphones and made their advanced capabilities easy to use every day.
Customers needed a simple way to connect their headphones, check battery levels, adjust the equalizer, switch sound and noise-cancellation modes, view device information, and install firmware updates. Most of these features also had to remain available without an internet connection.
T+A partnered with ABCloudz to develop native iOS and Android applications with reliable Bluetooth connectivity, a unified branded interface, and consistent performance across supported smartphones, tablets, and operating-system versions.
Solution: Premium Sound, Effortless Control
ABCloudz started by transforming the product requirements and technical capabilities of the Solitaire T PRO into a clear mobile experience. The team created a detailed Software Requirements Specification, mapped the main user journeys, and designed the application interface in Figma.
The design covered device onboarding, connection status, sound customization, firmware updates, support content, and device management. Each screen was adapted to Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design while preserving the premium T+A brand experience.
Solution: Native Control Across iOS and Android
ABCloudz developed separate native applications in Swift and Kotlin to ensure performance, stability, and direct access to platform-specific Bluetooth capabilities. The applications support device discovery and pairing, battery monitoring, a five-band equalizer, ANC settings, sound presets, operating modes, and over-the-air firmware updates.
The team also implemented T+A-specific extensions to the Qualcomm GAIA V3 protocol, enabling automatic device recognition and advanced headphone controls. The solution was delivered through iterative sprints with continuous testing across supported smartphones and tablets.
Result
The completed application transforms the Solitaire T PRO headphones into a fully connected digital experience. From one premium, branded interface, users can pair their headphones, fine-tune sound settings, switch between operating and ANC modes, monitor battery and device status, and install firmware updates across supported iOS and Android devices.
Built natively in Swift and Kotlin and extended through the GAIA protocol, the solution gives T+A a scalable platform for supporting new headphone models, introducing additional controls, and adapting to future operating-system updates.
